When we visited the British Museum in London, we were looking at cat mummies and noticed that the pattern of the cloth wrapping on the mummies often resembled the traditional Log Cabin pattern in traditional quilt making. That Christmas, I found a good sheep puppet and wrapped it in a Log Cabin quilt fragment we had found among my mother’s things after her death. MJK
